Submitting assets for compliance checking
Submitting assets for compliance checking
Submit a media asset for automated compliance checking by completing a short five-step wizard, then track its progress in real time.
Starting a submission
From your workspace, open the submission wizard and follow five steps: upload → select sidekicks → add context → add tags → review. You can submit as an org admin, workspace admin, workspace member, or submitter.
Step 1 — Upload your file
Drag and drop a file or browse for one. Supported asset types at launch are:
Video (e.g. MP4) — up to your workspace's maximum duration (120 seconds by default)
PDF — up to your workspace's maximum page count (20 pages by default)
.docx — subject to the same page limit as PDF
HTML and image files are not supported yet. If you choose an unsupported type, or a file exceeds your workspace's limit, the upload is blocked with a clear message that lists the supported types or states the actual limit. Submission is by file upload only — you cannot submit a URL.
Step 2 — Select sidekicks
Sidekicks are the AI compliance checkers, such as ASA CAP, Visual Accessibility, Proof Reader, and Current Affairs. You only see sidekicks compatible with your asset type — incompatible ones are hidden entirely. You must select at least one sidekick before you can continue.
Step 3 — Add supporting context
Optionally add a social caption or short brief describing the asset's intended use and audience. This is passed to the sidekicks to improve accuracy. You can skip this step.
Step 4 — Add tags
Optionally add key:value tags (for example campaign:Coca-Cola, market:UK) so you can find the asset later. As you type, fuzzy matching suggests existing tags to avoid duplicates. Tags are optional.
Step 5 — Review and submit
Review your file name, selected sidekicks, context, and tags, then confirm.
What happens after you submit
Your asset is queued and then processed asynchronously — you do not need to wait on the page. The status moves through submitted → processing → complete (or failed). Real-time updates appear as processing progresses, and you receive an in-app and email notification when results are ready to review.
